 Well, it was a fantastic day on April 4, 2009 for a Pinewood Derby Race. Everyone had a blast and we thank everyone who came out in support of the Pack.

Sorry guys, but it looks like we're not fishing this weekend.
From Ron Kanthak:
Attention all Troops and Packs;
Due to the storm coming in this weekend and in the interest of safety, the Fishing Camporee is being canceled for this weekend. The camporee has been rescheduled for September 19-21 2008 at Camp Charles. All fees and times for the original date will remain the same. Please let your youth know of this change and contact any units that may not get this email.

September is National Preparedness Month and I suggest everyone take a look at this web site. http://www.ready.gov/america/npm08/intro.html This is especially important with our geographical location in North Carolina and we have 3-4 hurricanes that could potentially cause problems for us, if we're not prepared. |

We've got a lot going on this year and expect big things, but we all need your help to do it! So stay informed, as much as possible. |

Pack 11 Performs Flag Ceremony |

 Pack 11 performed a flag ceremony at Braswell Memorial Library on May 6, 2008. Every 6 months, the library replaces the flags with new due to colors fading and physical damage from the elements.
Pack 11 was proud to retire the colors of the US and NC flags, while Taps was played. The boys were able to practice flag-folding, saluting and listening to commands given to the Color Guard for future reference. Pack 11 would like to thank all the parents that attended to see their boys in action. We're very proud of them and they should be proud of themselves. |
