Participants of this year’s event then have the opportunity to return following years to earn degrees, and will receive chevrons to attach to their patch. Junior Leader Training: An introductory course for youth leaders of all positions in a Boy Scout Troop All Day Courses: New Leaders Essentials and Position Specific Training with Youth Protection: Open to untrained Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venture Leaders. The course begins with Youth Protection and NLE, and upon completion will break-out into separate classes for the Specific Training. Commissioner Basic Training: The introductory course for new Unit and District Commissioners. Commissioners provide unit service and act as the liaison between the unit and district committee. Cub Scout Courses: Blue and Gold Banquet: Learn components of a good Blue and Gold Banquet Cub Scout Crafts: Learn crafting basics while you spend time creating fun age appropriate crafts (3 session long) Pack Electronic Resources: A virtual tour of various web-based and software based unit management tools to include; online advancements, ECC Website, Packmaster, and more Cub Camping: Learn the steps necessary to take your Cub Pack Camping, get some activity ideas, and places to go. Pack Administration: How to effectively use a unit committee to run your pack Ceremonies and Pizazz: Earning a badge is much more than mom pinning it on Webelos to Scout Transition: Learn your role in helping ensure your Webelos join the right Boy Scout Troop so you can go to their Eagle Ceremony a few years later (3 sessions long) Recruiting through Good Community Relations: Learn how to create a positive image of your Pack, and the kids will join Let’s Race: Pinewood, Space, Raingutter, Oh My… Learn how to run a great derby Scouts with Disabilities: Do your best is the Cub Scout Motto, learn how to work with their special needs Boy Scout Courses: Membership Recruitment: Learn how to bring new life to your troop Troop Electronic Resources: A virtual tour of various web-based and software based unit management tools to include; online advancement, ECC Website, Troop Master, … Webelos to Scout Transition: Learn your role in helping ensure your Webelos join the right Boy Scout Troop so you can go to their Eagle Ceremony a few years later (3 sessions long) Troop Administration: How to effectively use a unit committee to run your troop The Eagle Trail/Life to Eagle: Scouts should be First Class in one year, and Eagle at their own pace – learn how Scouts with Disabilities: Alternate requirements are available, learn about other resources including Learning for Life, special needs children.
